Vanadium is on the U.S. EPA’s drinking water Contaminants Candidates List. Because the oxidation state of vanadium determines its toxicity, an environmental risk assessment requires rapid and accurate speciation of the metals in environmental matrices. By attending this webinar, you will:
  • Understand how ion-pairing reversed-phase is applied to ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC).
  • Find out how sector-field inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (SF-ICP-MS) can achieve low detection limits and high resolution.
  • Learn how we have developed a method for rapid separation and quantification of two species of vanadium, vanadyl (V(IV)) and vanadate (V(V)) in water samples by coupling IPRP-UHPLC to SF-ICP-MS.
