Spectroscopy recently spoke with Nilay Chakraborty, PhD, MBA, an assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan, Dearborn, whose research focuses on developing new techniques for improving the survival of mammalian cells when stabilized and stored at non-cryogenic and cryogenic temperatures.
