Mr. Bob Hilbert

Mr. Bob Hilbert is a Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) industry expert with more than 25 years of LIMS management and technical experience related to design, construction, project management, business consultancy, implementation, training, and validation. He has eight years of experience as a senior manager for a global LIMS provider and another eight years of experience working in a Department of Energy laboratory. He managed a LIMS Product Development group that utilized an Agile Scrum framework, employing daily standups, points assignment and tracking, and burndown charts. His educational experience includes a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Systems and Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and computer science. Bob is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Other experiences include database development and programming, analytical sample and data management, laboratory contractor oversight, laboratory quality assurance and methodological compliance, laboratory auditing, and inorganic laboratory analyses.

Dr. Robin MacDonald
Senior Product Manager, Forensics
LabVantage Solutions, Inc.

Dr. Robin MacDonald worked for the Broward Sheriff's Office Crime Laboratory in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from 1996 to 2010 in the Trace Evidence Unit. She also managed, at various times, the trace evidence, firearms, drug chemistry, and questioned document units. Robin also became a certified ISO 17025 technical accessor and an American Board of Criminalistics Fire Debris Fellow.

Robin has been an adjunct faculty member for Nova Southeastern University and Broward College for many years. She created the Investigative Forensic Technology concentration track for the NOVA Southeastern University Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Program.

In 2010, she was hired as the Senior Product Manager for the forensic team at a global LIMS provider. Robin now brings a new depth of forensic industry knowledge to LabVantage where she is a Senior Product Manager. Robin works across all areas of LabVantage including product management, development, marketing, and sales to drive the success of the LabVantage Forensic Accelerator.
