WHAT IT DOES: The ChemDoodle Mobile app is designed to allow users to draw chemical structures, view 3D graphics, and generate IUPAC names. According to the company, the app is accessed through a free ChemDoodle account when ChemDoodle desktop is purchased. Users reportedly can use the Guest account to access the app without purchasing ChemDoodle, but they will not be able to save drawings and some features may be restricted. Logging into the account enables IUPAC naming, full 3D graphics (orthographic lines otherwise), 1H NMR spectra, and saving structures.
