Fiona Xi Xu received her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Washington under the advisement of Dan Fu. Her graduate research focused on quantitative analysis of protein and lipid metabolism in cells and tissues using advanced vibrational spectroscopy techniques, particularly stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy. She is currently a life science applications scientist at HORIBA, where she specializes in Raman spectroscopy for life science and biopharmaceutical applications, utilizing platforms ranging from confocal Raman microscopes to process and high-throughput Raman instruments.●
