Floralis Resolution Spectra Systems (Grenoble, France), created last December, has started the production of high-resolution, compact, spectrometers. The company presented its ZOOM spectra at the International trade fair, Photonics West, in San Francisco, last January. It is the first in Floralis’ portfolio of compact spectrometers being planned by Resolution Spectra Systems.
The spectrometer, which is 8.3 cm long, and 12.6 wide, won the “Photon d’Or” prize at the international OPTO trade fair in Paris, France last October.
The creation of Resolution Spectra Systems brings the total of spin-offs created by Floralis’ business unit program to four, a figure that included three start-ups that were created in 2011.
