Each year, Spectroscopy honors two outstanding professionals for their work in molecular and atomic spectroscopy.

The Emerging Leader in Atomic Spectroscopy Award recognizes the achievements and aspirations of a talented early-career atomic spectroscopist, selected by an independent scientific committee, the award is presented each year at the Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry.
