Savillex Corporation has been manufacturing fluoropolymer laboratory products since 1976 and has unmatched expertise in the molding and machining of fluoropolymers — especially PFA. Because all of our design, tooling, molding, manufacturing, assembly, and testing is done in-house, we have complete control of product quality. Our products are widely used in trace metals analysis — from sample collection and preparation through to sample introduction.
Chief Spectroscopic Techniques Supported
Our ICP sample introduction systems and products are manufactured from PFA using the highest purity grades of PFA resin, and historically have been focused on ICP-MS. More recently we have been developing unique new products for ICP-OES, applying the advantages of PFA to the ICP-OES application challenges of high solids and high particulate samples. The sample introduction system is a critical component of both ICP-OES and ICP-MS instruments.
The design of the sample introduction system affects all aspects of performance, including sensitivity, stability, washout, memory, matrix tolerance, sample compatibility, and also oxide level and isotope ratio precision in the case of ICP-MS. In addition, the purity of the materials that come into contact with the sample directly impact the level of the analytical blank. With over 35 years experience in fluoropolymer molding and unmatched expertise in the design and molding of PFA components for trace metal analysis, Savillex is bringing new capabilities to ICP-MS and ICP-OES.
Initially focused on semiconductor applications, Savillex sample introduction systems are being applied to a wide range of ICP-MS and ICP-OES applications including environmental, geochemistry, biomedical, and petrochemical.
