Amptek's SDD and Si-PIN X-ray detectors, featuring a wide range of detection areas and efficiency, are available in numerous formats to meet the needs of the customer. Typical resolution of the new FAST SDD® is 125 eV FWHM at 8 µs peaking time, or 155 eV FWHM at 0.2 µs and 1,000,000 counts per second!

Amptek's detectors are also offered with the "C-Series" windows as an alternative to the beryllium (Be) window for general XRF analysis, and superior performance as compared to polymer windows for soft X-ray analysis.
